I am a media historian of everyday habits and practices in the home entertainment zone. My approach intersects design and business history, media archaeology, and new materialism. 

I am presently dissertating in Stony Brook University's Cultural Analysis & Theory program on the history of the remote control device and its role in apperception.

My latest book chapter is out through Palgrave Macmillan in an edited collection titled Race, Gender, and Sexuality in Post Apocalyptic TV and Film, edited by Barbara Gurr.
